These collages are made doing google image searches from key words and phrases from dreams. In the end I’ll do one for every day in July, this is July 1st. Please note the photographs are all taken with my hand held in the studio, so they’re not ‘finished’ documentation.

This drawing is based on imagery from dreams during the course of a week. In one dream the word Lince appeared, which I later discovered is a section of town in Lima, Peru; a type of machine gun, and spanish for ‘lynx’.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to incorporate my dreams into my art practice for some time. Recently I was reading Jim Shaw’s book ‘Dreams’ and found myself thinking about how I would have handled presenting my dreams differently. The result is this painting. On the far left side just above the sillouhetted space needle you’ll notice my crude rendition of part of List. Special thanks to Jonathan Barofsky, Jim Shaw, and Luis Bunuel.

Holy Shit! I think I might cry, this is amazing. Adam way to make this thing happen INSTANTLY! Bevan, Janelle, Zack, so cool to see new work. My internet was down the last two days so I’m playing catch up a bit, but the momentum is so strong I may just stop and learn how to upload images right now. YOU ALL RULE!
